I Want My Html5 Now!

With the latest gossip about Microsoft buying Adobe and the mess that flash has had on the 64 bit platform ,I'm ready for Html 5 now. We need open standards on the web.I don't want to be locked in to Microsoft  or Adobe,and who knows what evil deeds Microsoft might do if they own flash.Maybe they would just kill it and make Silverlight the standard.As a  Linux user ,I want to be FREE from the closed source Flash and Silverlight.That's pretty hard with as much Flash and now Silverlight on the web.No company should have this much impact on the web.Seems like everyone from the US Government to Microsoft wants control of the web. The internet is  world wide  and  needs to stay free from  ownership by any country or company.I should be able to use any operating system or browser and not be tied to any company to do that.I just read where HTML5  might not be fully complete till 2022 or later.That's just not good enough.
